At Woodrups we have stocked many bike brands over the years and have refined our stock to give you what we feel are the best manufactured bikes on the planet. We are able to obtain any bike from the brands listed within a minimum time frame providing you with a huge range of choice from the leading cycle brands. Turnaround in most cases is within 7 working days, usually quicker.
Bikes in stock can be built and ready to ride on the same day of purchase and understanding your eagerness, we always endeavour to provide you with your new machine as quickly as possible.
All cycles are thoroughly adjusted and checked upon assembly with a second inspection check when the machine is sold to ensure it comes working at peak performance from your first ride. All new cycles sold here come inclusive of a free 1st Service within the first 8 weeks. This is to allow time over several rides for the cables to ‘bed in’ so we can readjust your gears and brakes accordingly and adjust or ensure you are happy with your position on the bike. Also, to give you superb satisfaction, we fit any accessories at time of purchase to the bike free of charge!
Specialized
Specialized were established as far back as 1974 and since then have produced some of the most innovative machines ahead of their time. They embraced the mtb scene at its infancy and their flagship Stumpjumper is still blazing trails today albeit in a far advanced form.
Over the years Specialized have recognized the need for top quality products and have branched out to cover every aspect of cycling from children’s cycles to hybrids and state of the art carbon race machines. As well as these products having to hold their own in a competitive market they are able to accessorize much of their cycles ‘in – house’ cutting external costs and enabling them to produce top quality cycles at a more competitive price.
Giant
Giant are arguably the worlds largest bike brand and produce the most comprehensive collection of bikes of any cycle manufacturer. They have a pedigree in manufacturing cycles which shows in their huge range of bikes right across the board.
Scott
Scott produce a large range of bikes and have pushed their research and design in carbon technology to the limit to produce the lightest mtb and road production frames on the planet. The top models weigh in at an astounding 22lb and 13.75lb respectively. Their cycles come arguably with the flashiest decals around
Ridgeback
We stock Ridgeback because they provide an excellent choice of value machines with reliable components at sensible prices, especially within the children’s and hybrid ranges. Childrens machines have very compact frames which means they can ride a cycle normally too large for them to ride at an earlier age, thus, not outgrowing the bike as quickly. They are specked with quality performance brakes and neutral colours to provide a balanced alternative to other brands.
Raleigh
Everyone remembers their first Raleigh! The name itself conjures nostalgic memories of our first transport and the fun element of cycling. They still produce a fantastic range of children’s cycles today.
Dawes
Think Dawes, think reliability. Dawes bikes have a reputation second to none for providing ‘old faithful’ reliable machines that endure. Their touring bikes are still epitomised by the Galaxy range, which thankfully, seem to have been around forever. Galaxy bikes are still rolling rutted roads in the furthest flung places of the globe with the same reliability as ever and as such, are the Brand of choice when it comes to ‘off the peg’ touring machines.
Pinarello
Pinarello are the pedigree of Italian master class. Their carbon frames boast the ultimate in rigidly for fast, responsive ride combined with their innovative fork and stay design for comfort. Pinarello inject long established Italian pedigree into all their frames which shows in their ride characteristics. Think Pinarello, think the Ferrari of the cycling world.
Orbea
Orbea produce some excellent value entry level racing bikes which provides a sound platform for trying out road riding, combining well thought out spec with excellent value.
BMX
We know how particular keen BMX’ers can be about a quality steed, so we stock a diverse range of BMX’s from Mongoose, Haro, GT, Dirty Bikes and WeThePeople. With carefully selected components on much of the range, these provide excellent value for tricks, ramps, grinds or simply hanging out with your mates.
