Our workshop is a Shimano Service Centre Plus and one of the most active in the country, turning over more than 80 repairs a week during our busiest period. As well as keeping local cyclists on the road we fully support local emergency services by supplying, maintaining and repairing Police Cycles for 5 local constabularies and a local Paramedic Cycle Response Unit.

Our staff includes 2 qualified mechanics to Cytech Level 3 and Level 2 respectively and Certified wheel builders. We have 3 fully trained and experienced full time mechanics along with 1 part time mechanic to deal with your repairs/build as quickly as possible as well as arguably the most experienced wheel builder in the country.

Our workshop is equipped with 3 work stands, 4 work benches and a wheel jig allied to a fully comprehensive set of specific cycle tools. Our wheelbuilder has well in excess of 20years’ experience building and truing wheels and is capable of building virtually any wheel.

Cycle Repairs / Cycle Service

Complete Cycle Service, including strip and build of all bearings

Wheel Building and Repairs

All wheel builds and truing include stripping the wheel of sprockets, tyres, tubes and truing in a professional wheel jig.  Wheels are checked for spoke tension, dishing and truing in every case.

Virtually any wheel can be built with spoke length calculation, spoke building (where necessary), spoking combinations in stainless steel, black, bladed onto virtually any rim and hub including power tap, geared hub and oversize hubs. We source a comprehensive range of rims from Halo to DT Swiss to Mavic.
