The Cube Acid 240 Disc in Galactic'n'Cyan is a "shrunken-down" version of Cube’s full-sized hardtail mountain bikes. It is designed for young riders who are ready to transition from casual paths to real off-road trails. The "Galactic'n'Cyan" finish is a striking, deep purple-blue with bright cyan accents, giving it a high-energy look that stands out on the trail.
Unlike many kids' bikes that use simple rim brakes, this model features full hydraulic disc brakes, providing significantly more stopping power with much less finger effort—a crucial safety feature for smaller hands. It also utilizes a standard 8-speed Shimano drivetrain, moving away from the "twist shifters" often found on cheaper bikes in favour of more precise "Rapidfire" trigger shifters.

Key Highlights
Hydraulic Stopping Power: The Shimano BR-MT200 brakes are the gold standard for entry-level performance. Because they are hydraulic, the "bite" is consistent even in mud or rain, and children can achieve full stopping power using only one or two fingers.
Rapidfire Shifting: Many 24-inch bikes use "Grip Shift" (twist) throttles, which can be difficult for small hands to turn when they get wet or muddy. The Shimano trigger shifters on the Acid 240 Disc provide a more "grown-up" and reliable clicking action.
Tailored Ergonomics: Cube doesn't just shorten the frame; they use a 127mm crank arm. Standard cranks are often too long for children, causing their knees to come up too high; these shorter arms ensure a more natural, efficient pedaling circle.
Adventure Ready: The frame includes dedicated mounting points for a kickstand (CUBE’s own "Rookie" mount), full-size mudguards, and a rear luggage rack. This makes it just as capable for the "school run" as it is for forest trails.
Lightweight Build: At approximately 11.7 kg, it strikes a healthy balance between being robust enough to take a beating and light enough for a child to maneuver over roots and small obstacles.
