The Cube Acid 240 Hybrid Rookie Pro 400X in Actionteam is essentially a "superbike" for the playground. Cube has taken the tech from their high-end adult light-eMTBs and shrunk it down into a 24-inch wheel package. The "Actionteam" colourway is the iconic blue-and-red racing livery used by Cube’s factory enduro team, which immediately gives it a "pro" look that young riders love.
The massive upgrade for this generation is the move to the Bosch Performance Line SX motor. Unlike the bulky motors found on older kids' e-bikes, the SX is lightweight and provides a natural, sporty boost of 55Nm of torque. Paired with the integrated 400Wh CompactTube battery, it offers plenty of range for long family trail days without making the bike too heavy for a child to handle.

Key Highlights
Bosch SX Performance: This motor is a game-changer for kids. It delivers power based on cadence—the harder the child pedals, the more the motor helps. It’s significantly lighter than the older "Active Line" units, bringing the total bike weight down to a manageable 17.6 kg.
Shimano CUES Groupset: This replaces the old Alivio/Altus parts. CUES is built on "LinkGlide" tech, which is designed to handle the higher torque of e-bike motors. The shifting is smoother and the chain/cassette last significantly longer.
Kid-Specific Ergonomics: Cube didn't just scale down the frame; they used 19mm-diameter handlebars and thinner grips to fit smaller hands, ensuring the child has a secure grip on the brakes and shifters at all times.
"Big Bike" Standards: It features a UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) and Boost 148 spacing. This means it’s compatible with modern mountain bike parts, making it easy to find replacements or even upgrade to a wireless drivetrain later.
- Range Extension: If the 400Wh battery isn't enough for an all-day alpine epic, the frame is compatible with the PowerMore 250 water-bottle-style battery, bumping the total capacity to 650Wh.
