The Giant ARX 24 is a high-performance, lightweight "all-rounder" designed for riders aged 8 to 12 (height range 130–150cm). In a market often saturated with heavy kids' mountain bikes with unnecessary suspension, the ARX stands out by keeping things simple, rigid, and incredibly light—coming in at approximately 9kg.
The bike is built using Giant's premium ALUXX-grade aluminium for both the frame and the fork, ensuring that the bike is easy for a child to lift, maneuver, and accelerate.

Key Highlights
Class-Leading Weight: By avoiding a heavy, cheap suspension fork (which often doesn't work well for light children anyway), Giant has kept the ARX 24's weight down. This makes a massive difference in how long a child can ride before getting tired.
Kid-Optimized Geometry: The bike features a very low stand-over height, making it easy to hop on and off. The 130mm cranks are specifically chosen to match the leg length of an average 9-year-old, preventing the "wide-circle" pedaling that can lead to knee discomfort.
Versatile "Fast" Tires: The 1.5" wide Innova tires are the "Goldilocks" of kids' tires. They are skinny enough to be fast on the pavement to keep up with parents on road bikes, but they have enough volume and tread to handle canal paths and forest fire roads.
Shimano Altus Reliability: Unlike many kids' bikes that use unbranded or entry-level "Tourney" parts, the ARX uses the Altus 8-speed system. It provides crisp, reliable shifting and uses a trigger shifter rather than a twist shifter, which is often easier for kids to use accurately.
- Stability First: The geometry is designed with a slightly longer wheelbase and a lower bottom bracket. This makes the bike feel "planted" rather than twitchy, giving young riders more confidence when they start to pick up speed on descents.
