The Bianchi Impulso Comp GRX 2x12sp is the definition of "Speed Gravel." Unlike the rugged, bikepacking-focused adventure bikes you might see from other brands, the Impulso Comp is pure Italian racing heritage applied to dirt. It draws heavy inspiration from Bianchi’s aero road bikes (like the Oltre and Specialissima), prioritizing aerodynamics, stiffness, and sheer velocity over massive tire clearance or endless luggage mounts.
For the this season, Bianchi utilizes a full carbon fibre composite frame and fork with a clean, integrated aesthetic. It is equipped with a mixed Shimano GRX 2x12 groupset, blending the durability of the 600-series with the precision of the 800-series derailleurs. Rolling on Velomann wheels and fast Pirelli Cinturato tires, this bike is designed to dominate fast gravel races, fire roads, and mixed-surface endurance rides where efficiency is king.

Key Highlights
"Speed Gravel" Geometry: This frame does not feel like a sluggish touring bike. It has a shorter wheelbase and steeper angles than many gravel bikes, giving it "road bike" responsiveness. It accelerates instantly and holds high speeds on the flats with ease.
42mm Tire Clearance: Bianchi deliberately capped the tire clearance at 42mm. While other gravel bikes are pushing for 50mm+, Bianchi kept this narrower to maintain the frame's aerodynamic profile and road-like Q-factor. It is a conscious choice to keep the bike fast.
Aerodynamic Integration: The front end features an integrated fork and internal cable routing (ICR) that mimics Bianchi's aero road bikes. This reduces drag significantly—a major advantage during long, exposed sections of a gravel race.
Smart 2x12 Gearing: The 46/30T crankset paired with an 11-36T cassette gives you a very tight gear range. This allows you to find the perfect cadence on rolling terrain without the large "jumps" between gears found on 1x setups, which is crucial for maintaining speed over long distances.
