The Giant Fathom E+ in Deep Lake represents the new generation of Giant’s hardtail e-MTB lineup. This model is a significant step up from previous versions, moving from the more leisure-oriented motors to the high-performance SyncDrive Pro 2 system. The "Deep Lake" colour is a rich, dark teal/blue that looks sophisticated against the beefy trail-ready frame.
This bike is built for the "all-day explorer." While it lacks rear suspension, it makes up for it with a massive 750Wh battery—one of the largest found on a hardtail—and a motor that delivers 85Nm of torque, the same punch found on flagship full-suspension race bikes. It’s also one of the first in this category to integrate Apple Find My technology directly into the bike's hardware.

Key Highlights
SyncDrive Pro 2 Power: Usually, hardtail e-bikes get the "Sport" motor (75Nm). By equipping this with the "Pro 2" (85Nm), Giant has made it a formidable climber. It provides up to 400% assistance, meaning it can conquer the steepest technical grades with minimal effort.
Long-Range 750Wh Battery: This is the bike's "superpower." Most hardtails use a 500Wh or 625Wh unit. The 750Wh battery, paired with the efficiency of a hardtail, allows for massive 60–80 mile trail days without "range anxiety."
Shimano CUES + LinkGlide: The 10-speed CUES system is specifically designed for the high torque of e-bikes. It uses thicker cogs and a specialized tooth profile to ensure the chain doesn't skip or wear out prematurely under the 85Nm of motor force.
Integrated Tech & Security: The inclusion of Apple Find My is a major win for urban and trail security. If the bike is moved without your permission, you can track it via the "Find My" app on your iPhone.
Trail Geometry: With a 66° head angle, this is slacker and more "rowdy" than older Fathoms. It feels much more stable on fast descents, and the 130mm fork provides plenty of cushion for roots and rocks.
