The Ridgeback Dimension 16 in Green is a premium, lightweight bike designed for children aged roughly 4 to 6 years (height range 110–120cm). Unlike heavy, "toy-style" kids' bikes, the Dimension range is built using high-quality aluminium components to keep the weight down to an impressive 6.32kg.
The "Green" finish (sometimes referred to as Super Sage or Lime in different year cycles) is a bright, high-visibility color that is both stylish and safe for pavement and park riding. This bike is often the "gold standard" transition bike for kids moving from a balance bike to their first real pedal bike, as its lightweight nature makes it much easier to balance and steer.

Key Highlights
The "Lightweight" Advantage: At just 6.32kg, this bike is significantly lighter than standard steel kids' bikes which can often weigh 10kg+. For a small child, this weight difference is the equivalent of an adult losing 15kg off their own bike—it makes climbing hills and starting from a standstill much easier.
Proportional Components: Ridgeback uses a 102mm crank arm and a narrow 500mm handlebar. This ensures the child’s joints are in the correct ergonomic position, preventing the "knees-to-chest" or "arms-too-wide" posture common on cheap bikes.
Vee Speedster Tires: The 2.0" width is quite wide for a 16-inch bike, acting as natural suspension. It allows the bike to be ridden at lower pressures for better comfort over bumpy pavements and grass.
Tektro Short-Reach Levers: One of the biggest safety hurdles for kids is not being able to reach the brakes. These levers are adjustable and designed so that even tiny fingers can get enough leverage to stop safely.
Parental Handle: The saddle features a small integrated handle underneath. This is a lifesaver for parents when a child decides they are "done" for the day and the bike needs to be carried home.
